4 ) Montly outgoing, roughly what will they be? Is it expensive?

5 ) Notary – who will take me there? Will they speak English? Will all  documentations be translated into English?

6 ) What is a Tapu? Will all the papers be in my name?

7 ) How do you get residence, if at all? If not, how long can i stay at any one time?

8 ) Do you furnish the Villas, if not would you help?

9 ) If Dalaman airport was closed, where is the nearest one? Could you arrange my  transfers?  

10 ) What happens on the legal side of thing? What will I need?


1 ) Telephone land lines can be obtained only for those holding residency. H. P. agreements are at the discretion of individual outlets. Mobile phone contracts are available.



2 ) It is a statuary government requirement that all new buildings have earthquake insurance cover. Additional cover can be purchased.


3) The insurance company recommended by Foresthillhouses is government registered and will offer various packages to suit the customer. Our staff is available to assist.


4) Monthly outgoings will vary according to personal use but a guide would be: Electricity approx. 10 – 15 GBP per 2 months
Water approx. 10 GBP per 2 months
Property tax approx. 50 – 100 GBP per year
Electricity approx. 10 – 15GBP per 2 months


5) All customers will be accompanied to the Notary by English speaking staff and all procedures will be explained in full. All documents are in Turkish but a translation of the Power of Attorney is available from us. Any other translations can be arranged with a government approved translator for a small fee.


6) The Tapu is the Title Deeds for the property. The tapu will be registered in either joint or single names at the purchaser’s request.


7) Residency details are available and is relatively easy to obtain. Foresthillhouses staff is available to advice. Prior to obtaining residency entrance visas must be renewed every 3 months.


8) Villas can be furnished by us or our staff will take the customer shopping in the local area to choose furnishings according to the individual budget


9) When Dalaman is closed the nearest airport is Antalya and transfers can be arranged through our After Sales Dept. Alternatively, flights can be made to Dalaman via Istanbul.


10) A passport is all that is required. All paperwork pertaining to the purchase of a property is done through the local government offices.
